Originally from Norfolk, Virginia, G Unit Capo has built a powerful following, not only throughout the nation, but worldwide. One of his most recent hit songs named, “Depression,” has people around the globe tuned in and wanting more. G Unit Capo’s success can be directly contributed to his foundation…his hardworking mother. He grew up without his father, so his mother had to rely on herself, therefore instilling a strong work ethic and a deep line of integrity into him. When it comes to music, G Unit Capo has been around it most of his life. He received guidance from his older brother Dantae aka “Deuce,” who unfortunately is presently incarcerated. Deuce taught him how to count bars, so along with GUnit Capo’s natural talent, only greatness was to follow. G Unit Capo was the first artist to sign with DeAngelo Hall’s (Pro Bowl corner back for the Washington Redskins) entertainment/production company, Big Time 21 LLC. He has worked with some of the industry’s biggest producers. To name a few, D4L’s Born Immaculate (who co-produced Shawty Lo’s debut album, “Units In The City”), Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo of The Neptunes, Nate (who is a member of Timberland’s production team), Teddy Riley of Black Street, Hannon (who has produced for Jim Jones), the V.I.P.’s and many more! Some of G Unit Capo’s collaborations have been with Jay Rock of TDE, Paul Wall, Omillio Sparks from State Property-Roc-A-fella and Ty Gracie of ABK-Cru Thik. In 2010, G Unit Capo officially inked a major deal with Mazaradi Fox and GUnit/Dum Out/Universal. Due to Mazaradi Fox’s unfortunate death in 2014, G Unit Capo decided to be released from the label. Now as an independent artist and CEO of his own record label 3133 Entertainment INC., and with his new partnership with one of the best record label’s in the game, Sony, G Unit Capo is on his global grind. He just recently headlined for SXSW “Rep Your State” major artists stage and is currently teaming up with NBA Legend and philanthropist, Starbury aka Stephon Marbury with the game changing, “Globe Ball.” Stay tuned everyone. This is only the beginning.
